Samantha Grieve

Samantha is a graduate from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Major in Oil Painting and a Minor in Art History. Since graduating she has been fulfilling private painting commissions, partaking in solo art shows and has had her work exhibited and sold in art galleries, various retail shops, a local coffee shop, co-working space- all of which span across Ontario and as far as Boston, Massachusetts.

Samantha’s love for interior design was brought to life and realized through her paintings while studying at Queen’s. She often delved into design and landscaping magazines to find inspiration and then would embark on curating her paintings through picking the wall colour, fabrics for the upholstery and accessories to done the tops of the case goods. Her love for fabrics, colour and light- specifically shadows and light and how they play on various surfaces- are what drove her painting passions. It was with this realization she was following in the footsteps of her interior decorator mother and interior designer sister.

She then packed her bags and moved to Toronto to work for luxury home furnishings showroom ELTE. It was here where Samantha’s interior design-savyness and sales career took off. Samantha has collaborated with some of North America’s best, award-winning interior design firms and some of the GTA’s top design professionals while working as a luxury sales executive in both sales and management roles.
